The Chile Verde consists a stack of green chile sauced tortillas, slow cooked pulled pork, poached egg and green chili hollandaise, pico de gallo and cotija cheese. K chose two different eggs benedict preparations. While it’s not stated anywhere on the menu, Snooze allows you to mix and match, so Mr. K loves hollandaise sauce but I’m far too lazy to make my own, so he always looks forward to ordering it here. We really enjoy the eggs benedict at Snooze. I’d recommend ordering something salty on the side.Ĭhile Verde Benny and Bella! Bella! Benny Yes these are quite sweet and can easily be substituted as a dessert, but they are delicious. Also the pancakes here are cooked perfectly: fluffy round cakes with crisp edges. I love the variety and unique combinations. But I can’t get away from the pancake flight. The Del Mar location is a little less congested and we were able to get a table within 15 minutes. The original San Diego location (Hillcrest) is so popular that wait times are 1+ hours on weekends, so we never visit there anymore. Snooze AM Eatery is one of our favorite brunch spots in San Diego and we recently stopped in for a late morning brunch, after craving it for some time.
